Biographical Sketch:  
Debra S. Fleming is the principal for The Ancestry Detective, LLC, a genealogical research firm located in Pasco County, Florida.  She has been a practicing genealogist since 2000 trading her research time between her many New England immigrant ancestors and her husband's southern colonials.  Debra has taught genealogy classes for the University of South Florida OSHER Center from 2007-2010.  A graduate of Florida State University, Debra majored in Creative Writing and minored in Religious Studies.  Debra is a member of the Genealogical Speakers Guild (GSG), The Association of  Professional Genealogists (APG), and several genealogical societies including the Florida State Genealogical Society.  You can learn more about Debra's speaking schedule and topics at www.theancestrydetective.com and you may contact her at theancestrydetective@icloud.com.
