CONFERENCE ACCOMMODATIONS
The Hilton Deerfield Beach/Boca Raton is NOW a Doubletree Hotel.  This does not affect the conference.
 
The beautiful Doubletree Deerfield Beach/Boca Raton in Deerfield Beach, Florida will serve as the conference hotel where all exhibits and lectures will take place.  The hotel is located at 100 Fairway Drive, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441.
 
A block of rooms is being held for FSGS until OCTOBER 22, 2012, at special room rates during your entire stay.  These rates are good for up to three days before and three days after the conference arrival and departure dates (Nov 5, 2012 - November 13, 2012)

TRANSPORTATION
 
The hotel is very conveniently located to all modes of transportation.
  • Planes:  Three major airports serve the area:  Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International (FLL), Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), and Miami International Airport (MIA).  The hotel does NOT provide airport shuttle service.
  • Trains:  The Amtrak and Tri-Rail train station is 1.5 miles or 4 minutes away.  The hotel DOES offer free shuttle services.
  • Automobiles:  If you travel by car, the hotel is off I-95, exit 42 (W. Hillsboro Blvd., Highway 810).  You can see it from the interstate.
  • Parking: The hotel has complimentary self parking.
  • Hotel Shuttle: Complimentary shuttle service is provided to any destination within five miles of the hotel.

Register for the conference online.  On-site registration for the conference (pre-paid and walk-in attendees) will be held in the hotel Ballroom Foyer.  The booth will be open the following hours:

Saturday 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM
 
EXHIBIT HALL
 
Regionally and nationally acclaimed suppliers fo the altest and best genealogy books, maps, CD's, software, periodicals, supplies, etc., will be available at the conference throughout the conference in the exhibit area.  The Florida State Genealogical Society will also ahve displays.  Vendors will be open the following hours:

Genealogical Society of Palm Beach County Library, 3650 Summit Blvd, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33415.  They have a unique, privately-owned gnealogical research facility with 9000 titles and 13,0000 volumes.  In addition, they have a valuable surname card file with over 200,000 index cards sorted by surname. NEW!! Thursday Sessions

Sessions have been added for Thursday afternoon
 
This is NEW for FSGS.  Registration will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Thursday.  There will be a series of 3 lecture times available with 3 lecture choices in each time slot from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, 2:25 to 3:15 PM, and 3:30 to 4:30 PM.  All of these are included in the FULL Conference Registration or you may register ONLY for Thursday sessions.
